The Friends of DAAB recently hosted am Airport visit by the DeRidder High School Science Club. DAAB Youth Program Director, Don Pardon gave a two hour tour of the facility including an introduction to general aviation. The Science Club connected various fields of science to aviation and learned the basics of flight.
The DAAB Youth Program meets regularly the 2nd & 4th Saturdays each month, 1:00 to 4:00pm and is open to all area youths ages 14-18. Contact Don Pardon 337 463 7115 for more info.
